“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”
One does not have to look hard to see people talking about “love thy neighbor” or “do on to others as you would want done onto you” then turn around a speak hatefully to certain groups of people because their beliefs or practices are different.
The most effective way to get through to people about what your beliefs are do not come from preaching to them about it, but by showing them through your own actions. Genuine love and kindness shown to an individual can have a far greater impact on a person than condemning them.
Every faith wants people to see the truth, and come to their ways of believing so that the individual can be saved. If this is your calling try using compassion, and show them through actions your good deeds, because without action the words are hollow and will turn them away.
